#Doer Prezi Meeting in 대한민국(Korea) for 2011 日本大地震と津波。 Japanese Earthquake & Tsunami #PrayforJapan

by Doer Ahn 2011. 3. 15.

A team from voluntary South Korean Prezi users collaborated, through Prezi meeting, to make a Prezi material for helping our neighboring nation, JAPAN, to them we feel great compassion for recent disaster.

Through this project,

- One. We aim to incorporate whole picture of past, present and future of Japan's injured regions within one infinite canvas,

- Two. We hope to gather as diverse information as possible to help friends in need,

- Three. We will endevour to craft an emtional story plot which we desire to spread and share in persuasive manner.

- 9 Korean volunteers have joined for this work until now.

- Even though it started in big haste, a reminiscence of the very first night that people from radically different backgrounds running for shared goal for JAPAN, while sharing a single infinite canvas, still evokes thrilling emotion.

And while keep working on, we couldn't help but face disastrous images and stories of Japan by heart, and that drived us to do elaborate work on each and every single layout and path.

Story of a woman's disappearance after emergency broadcasting of tsunami, a person who unfortunately moved to Sendai on the day of disaster and tweeted to one's very last moment in the middle of tsunami(Now she's known to be survived and twitter account is permanently off by herself), an old man's story who said 'Let's rebuild again' with cheering smile on his face even after three days of isolation in ruined village, and my friend's death who I have been together for last three years..

Ravaged by heart-breaking stories, sometimes Prezi canvas squeezed our humane emotion and we lost a way. In the end, however, we decided to keep those stories buried in symbols and metaphors by following the quote, 'Simple is the Best'.

& Here we present our Prezi.
